Have you ever wondered why that person, who was so much apart of your life – who was so important to your well-being, left?
As they walked out the door, leaving suddenly, you are left drowning in a sea of tears and unanswered questions. You are left alone, asking yourself such unanswerable questions as, “Did I say anything that drove him away? Could I have done anything to prevent him from leaving?” You are overcome with guilt, believing their departure was all your fault. You start to beat yourself up over an event that was unavoidable, although you can’t “see the forest for the trees.” Thus, you cry yourself to sleep at night, and awake in the morning bathed in sorrow and regrets.
